       The Southern Xinjiang Railway is a national double-track electrified railway (a single line from Aksu to Kashgar) that connects Turpan Station in Turpan city and Hotan Station in Hotan city, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in China. It is a key project of China’s National "Ninth Five-Year Plan" and is also the main railway line in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
